Title: Horrible Experience with John Holt Chevrolet – Avoid This Dealership! We purchased a truck from John Holt Chevrolet, and it broke down just 10 days after buying it. It was only the second time we drove it. After bringing it to their attention, we found out the engine needs to be completely rebuilt. We called the dealership hoping they would stand behind the truck they sold us, but I never got a call back. In frustration, I posted a review on Facebook about my experience, and within minutes, the sales manager called me – but not to offer help. He was rude, confrontational, and more focused on complaining about my review than offering any sort of resolution. He told me that since we drove the truck off the lot, it was now our problem, and they would not be doing anything to help. It’s clear that John Holt Chevrolet doesn't care about their customers once they’ve made a sale. If you want a dealership that will stand behind their vehicles and do the right thing when something goes wrong, this is not the place for you. We’ve been told by other dealerships, like our local Ford dealership, that they would have helped us in this situation. Run, don't walk, to any other dealership. John Holt Chevrolet will not take care of you when things go wrong.

Truck was delivered on Friday February 14th. Called Monday morning to check status and was told engine would turn over. Asked about a loaner and was told they would have one available. Showed up Monday evening and was told they could one in a couple of days. Since this is my only vehicle I was a little mad. Then I asked how long it would be in shop and they told me that was a good question and they had no idea. I asked how I was supposed to get to work and I was told to borrow one. I didn’t find it funny. Carter Chevrolet sent tow truck to pick up vehicle and had me in a loaner same day. Needless to say you could learn a little bit from them.
